Overseas Service Learning (OSL) to Zambales, Philippines functioned as our initial engagement with the Maporac Aetas understand their needs as well as build ties with the chieftain and the rest of the community. We carried out art classes at the San Juan Primary School (Maporac Aeta School) and theatre workshops with the children in the community. We also participated in some of their daily activities such as harvesting rice, cooking, and weaving baskets.
